Reinventing pocket money

Pocket money can be much more than the simple pleasure of putting coins in a piggy bank. Bloon's ambition is to help children grow up while bringing peace of mind to families.

the beginning

The originof Bloon

Like many parents, I wanted to give my son pocket money to help him gain independence and learn the value of money.

But after several months of giving him cash, I finally realized there was a problem. My son regularly asked for my card to pay on the Internet, so I had to advance him money.

And you know what solution I found to keep track of our accounts? Write the amount on a post-it note and hang it on the fridge!

I figured there had to be a better way, and that's how the idea for Bloon was born.

In order to create a solution adapted to parents' needs, we interviewed numerous families to understand the problems they encountered with existing solutions. They told us they didn't like... :

And if the technology didn't exist, we were determined to create it.
